Ok, here it is. Get the biggest hammer you can find and begin to beat the CPU as hard as you can. Mind you, this won't help at all and in fact will be quite detrimental to the computer. BUT, when you get your new computer, chances are the speakers will work great! Hope this helps!
dude that box lies about the 1000w or 1200w in my case the amp only puts out 600w and each sub was rated at 600w the box said 1200w when in reality even with 2 subs it is still 600w system. i put a 1000w amp on it and blew out the subs if you are thinking of buying these don’t if you plan to get the max out of them u cant add sub watts together and say its a 1200 watt system
No, you shouldn't need an amp..
It's not just the amplitude (loudness) that matters here, it's the frequency. Audio speakers don't produce ultrasound; there'd be no point to engineering them to do so since it's inaudible.

Fair enough you make valid points but to describe DOSBox’s emulation an insult to the composers is a bit much IMO. You seem to be forgetting a critical piece of hardware that was often a point of failure with early PC audio and that was the speakers. Musicians had no absolute control over how their audio was heard as most PC gamers from the era generally used small, nasty and cheap audio speakers which muffled, diluted and even polluted the sound being fed.
This is because stock speakers are amplified and you need adapter to turn off for them to work. otherwise they will blow.
Well Geoff, the very start of that video shows people right at the front of the crowd, as is shown by the audio speakers and cameraman. Obviously, that's the spot you would expect the thickest density.
The majority of the video shows people marching down Pennsylvania Avenue on the way to the site. Even speeded up, those shots show lots of pavement and give a much better sense of crowd density than the rooftop video that is often cited.
I loved the “far as the eye can see” comment from the woman commentator, particularly since wide open, green grass is evident beyond 3rd St. and much more open space is shown on the sides at the front of the crowd than even I had been aware of before.
have you tried plugging them in and unpluging them. sometimes that works for me
Though I am not an audio expert, you can download a sound-wave editor program that edits the sound files via soundwaves and user input. A crackle would come up as a high frequency spike on the waveform or it should stand out to the normal waveform of the music. I have not tried it myself, but you can cut out those spikes from the waveform and thus out of the music you hear. However, the problem is that the crackling has already damaged that millisecond of the music that it occupied. By deleting the crackle, you will have a millisecond of skipping where you deleted the crackle. Or instead of deleting that crackle, you can zero-out or make that millisecond portion silent(or a straight horizontal line on the waveform). Unless it isn't a big deal to you, then that would be the best option.
There are many free audio editing softwares out there. I use a Mac and I use Audacity. I have used one for Windows, but I can't remember the name of the program on top of my head.
Hope that helps.
